Dr. Shaik Rusthum                          Principal

Dr. Shaik Rusthum joined the VIF College of Engineering & Technology on 20th July 2007 as Professor & Principal. He has a vast experience of 18 years which includes industrial Management, Teaching and Research.

He obtained his B.E. Degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1988. He completed his M.Tech. from Andhra University, Vishakapatnam during 1994. He pursued his Ph.D. in 2003 from Osmania University, Hyderabad in the area of Watershed Management. His field of expertise / specialization is Fluid mechanics, water resources, GIS & Remote Sensing ( Civil Engineering).

He has presented several research papers in National, international conferences and Journals. He has to his credit several Projects.

Students under his guidance have won prizes and best technical paper awards in various National Conferences. Presently he is supervising six research scholars for award of P.h.D.

He is fellow member of Institution of Engineers ( India ) and Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education.

As a Convener he conceived, planned and organized the prestigious National Conference on GIS ACE - 2 K2 Geographic Information System and their Application's in Civil Engineering during Feb 14-16, 2002.
